When you’re trying to make any change in your life it’s easy to pin the blame on something outside of yourself. You insist that there’s this thing or person or circumstance that prevents you from moving from where you are now to where you want to be.
You know the drill.
- She won’t let me.
- I can’t get out of bed.
- My job is too demanding.
- The roads are too slick.
- There’s not enough money.
- My parents/kids need me.
Any one of these reasons may hold weight from time to time. But if you find yourself reaching for a familiar excuse outside of you – that stops you from stepping into a life you say you want, maybe it’s time to look for the answer within you.
- Focus on what you want.
This is where you explore and figure out your direction.
- Challenge negative thoughts.
Take on your thoughts, rather than letting them take you down.
- Create new habits.
Here is your moment – what will you do differently to get where you want?
- Do this over and over.
Keep your new behavior going by engaging your intellect, emotion and your body.
If you’d like to explore any of these ideas, message me. I’d love to see you soar.
Happy Friday!
You’ve got this.
